Nevil Wilson is an experienced consultant with over 35 years of energy efficiency and energy management experience. Having started his career with Babcock Energy, he then spent over 25 years as a consultant including secondments to both the European Commission and the Carbon Trust.

He then worked for a Danish energy services company implementing energy management systems in the UK, USA , Germany, Russia and North Africa.

Nevil started R-Qubed in 2018 to offer energy management and energy efficiency consultancy services.

Sectors

Nevil has sectoral experience in Food and Drink, Tobacco, Pulp and Paper, Glass and Chemicals and Stonewool insulation. He has technical experience in metering and data capture systems, motors and drives (fans, pumps, conveyors), evaporation and drying, compressed air, refrigeration, HVAC, lighting and cogeneration

Competences

Nevil has both the technical skills necessary to identify energy efficiency projects and the management skills needed to implement energy management systems and programmes - from metering and data capture through data analysis and reporting; management systems and procedures; training and competence development.

Project Management of Scanenergi Solutions (ex Danfoss Solutions) ESCO projects in Portugal, Russia and Spain. All completed within budget and exceeding energy savings targets.

With EPS Energie in Canada - Program Manager for the delivery of Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Programs in New Brunswick and Texas and technical support for SEM Programs in California and Michigan. Sectors covered include: Automotive, Chemicals, Oil/Gas, Food & Dairy, Pharmaceuticals, Pulp and Paper, Cement.
